WESTEND CAFE
Situated in the heart of Llandovery, a picturesque market town in the Carmarthenshire countryside, West End is a family-run cafe serving homemade food in a laid-back, casual space that’s open all day. Whether you’re looking for a hearty breakfast, a lunchtime carvery or a burger in the evening, our genuinely lovely staff have got it covered. We also offer takeout services, so if you’re in a hurry, you can grab a delicious meal to go.
Our History
We’ve been a fixture on Broad Street (A40) for over 30 years, and it’s all thanks to our owner, Mark Vince, for getting it right. As residents of Llandovery, we’re committed to supporting local businesses and celebrating all things Welsh. We use local suppliers where we can, infact our meat couldn’t be more local. The meat for our carvery’s, pies and pasties comes from Berllan Penlan farm just around the corner. It’s the personal touch and Mark’s pledge to serve good food, from farm to plate, that sets us apart.

Our Food
We serve up big helpings of seasonal, homemade food. We’ve put all of our efforts into creating a home-from-home, where everyone is welcome. We have a great menu, which offers everything from granola pots to full-cooked breakfasts, filled rolls to roast dinners, and a wide selection of takeaway options. And the cakes? We’re proud to have made them all.
“Since day one, my aim has been simple: serving great food in a relaxed, welcoming setting, using locally sourced ingredients to support our community's farmers and producers. I'm a firm believer in honest, home-cooked meals - the kind that feels like a visit to your parents' for dinner. West End is more than just a cafe; it's a family-friendly place I'm truly proud of.” Mark Vince.
